Born and raised in SE Wyoming, a farmer’s daughter, on a dryland wheat farm. The nearby schools and towns were rural and small. We depended on our family, neighbors, and community to provide support and camaraderie. It was a time of 3 channel TV, CB radios, a party line, dial telephones with a 20’ phone cord, and community gatherings. My roots are rural, and I believe in small town values.
